As part of the Ballymaloe Festival of Food, Guzzle and Kerrygold Ireland are tasking top tastemakers and chefs with sharing the bread-based dishes that bring back their most memorable moments. Whether it’s a mouthwatering sambo discovered after a hectic service or the pastry that launched their Michelin journey.

Almost every country has its own take on bread, from brioche and banh mi to pide and naan. To celebrate this common thread across the globe, Guzzle is teaming up with Kerrygold Ireland and a plethora of industry veterans on a brand new event series called Bread & Butter. Highlights include a debate on Ireland’s unofficial national dish, recipes that breathe life into old bread, a tribute to post-service sandwiches, and a chat about bread as a shared language.
